Performance
All Subaru BRZ models come equipped with a new
2.4-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine. It produces 228-horsepower and 184
pounds-feet of torque, providing you with a fun, exciting, and agile
performance whether you're cruising around Plymouth, MA, on the highway, or
driving on the open road. The new engine delivers 23-horsepower more than in
previous years, and 28 pounds-feet of torque for a sportier driving experience.
The Subaru Boxer engines use horizontally opposed pistons rather than vertical
ones, providing you with a lower center of gravity, which results in greater
stability.
You can choose either a six-speed manual or
six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, giving you the option of
what kind of driving style is the best fit for you. All Subaru BRZ models come
equipped with rear-wheel drive. The Subaru BRZ is the only vehicle in the
Subaru lineup of vehicles to not come equipped with standard all-wheel drive.
That's because all BRZ models maintain optimal weight distribution, allowing
you to enjoy the utmost control and handling, even on the tightest corners
around Hyannis.
Design
All Subaru BRZ models are sleek and stylish from
head to toe. Every model has a sleek, elongated front hood with a shorter back
end for optimal aerodynamics. Every model also has LED headlights, a ducktail
rear spoiler, and side air scoops.
Inside the cabin, you'll enjoy a comfortable
driving experience with cockpit like seating for you and your front passenger,
in your choice of cloth or available leather upholstery. Most of the features
are driver centric, allowing for easier control of all the features.
Technology
The technology features are more advanced and
accommodating than in previous years. All BRZ models come with an 8-inch
touchscreen display for the new Subaru Starlink multimedia system with Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. This allows you to connect your phone
wirelessly using Bluetooth or with a USB cord, giving you handsfree or touchscreen
control of calls, apps, music, messages, and much more, allowing you to stay
connected wherever your travels take you around Falmouth.
Safety
If you choose a new BRZ model with an automatic
transmission, it will also come equipped with an Eyesight Driver Assist
Technology system, featuring a bevy of cutting-edge safety features, including
pre-collision braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and more. If
you choose a higher trim level, and you can take advantage of other helpful
features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and
others.
