      This 1997 Subaru Sambar 4WD pickup is powered by a 658cc inline-four mated to a five-speed manual gearbox with an extra-low forward gear and a four-wheel-drive system. Equipment includes a headache rack, fold-down bedsides, and a radio. 

      The 14″ Embely multi-spoke wheels are mounted with Nankang tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

      The two-spoke steering wheel wears a cover and frames a 140-km/h speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level and coolant temperature.

      The rear-mounted EN07 Clover 658cc SOHC inline-four was factory equipped with a single-barrel carburetor and was rated at 39 horsepower and 39 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox with an extra-low (EL) forward gear and a four-wheel-drive system.
