Now, Subaru's dedication to customer safety is getting national attention again, as the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) has awarded three 2014 Subaru lines with the highest marks.
The IIHS has awarded highest marks to the 2014 Subaru Forester, the 2014 Subaru Outback, and the 2014 Subaru Legacy.
The 2014 Subaru Forester is the only vehicle in the compact crossover class to achieve a “good” rating in all five crash tests conducted by the IIHS. Definitely not an easy feat, though Subaru comes out on top of the mix.
One of the exciting features to be included in the Touring package on the 2014 Forester is Subaru's Eyesight Driver Assist system, which monitors road conditions through two windshield mounted cameras. This new safety system automatically reacts to many hazards when the driver is unable to respond in time, from decreased acceleration to automatic braking.
