Subaru makes a promise to guarantee the value of a trade-in vehicle six years from the original vehicle start date when a new later model year Subaru vehicle is purchased. So long as the vehicle is in good condition with standard manufacturing, based upon the mileage standards below, you're up for a concrete cash value on your old Subaru. No questions, no dealership lingo and a haggle-free environment: Subaru believes in the lasting value of their vehicles, and expects their owners do too.
The Guaranteed Trade-in Program values are limited to a range of miles, updated based upon the model year. The following list outlines those mileage caps:

Model Year 2009 60,000 miles ?

The maximum allowable total vehicle mileage criteria will be updated monthly and posted on subaru.com/gtp.
Other criteria include normal trade-in regulations - current registration, emissions sticker, no replaced/tampered odometer or vehicles that have been totaled, rebuilt, salvaged or flooded. The Guaranteed Trade-In Program Value is based on the vehicle being in safe operating condition and free of existing and/or previously repaired collision damage.
