Subaru collected six awards from Kiplinger's Personal Finance for key ratings based on safety, value and performance. Subaru cleaned up across the board, with awards in six areas, for the Outback, BRZ, Forester, Forester 2.5X, Impreza, and the Legacy.
One of Subaru's flagship vehicles, the Outback, was named "Best in Class" in the wagons category, earning its 3rd Kiplinger award in a row since its 2010 redesign. Subaru also took home an award for most fuel-efficient sports car with their all-new BRZ. This gasoline sipper still packs a punch, with a 200-hp engine, standard navigation and other high-end features. According to Kiplinger, "Subaru's BRZ is downright sexy. In terms of quality - from fit and finish to materials and standard features - the Subaru finishes first".
The full list of award winners include:
- Subaru Outback named "Best in Class" in the wagons category
