Changes from 2011 to 2012

New - Package Upgrade, number 11 - Alloy Wheel Package, available on base models only. This includes the All Weather Package, 17" Alloy Wheels, Fog Lights and body colored Side Mirrors. The upper part of the windshield is tinted too.

New - The Premium model received an upgraded 6 speaker stereo with Bluetooth, Wireless Music Audio Streaming, USB Port and AUX Jack.

New - Rear Seat DVD Players are now an option on all models, the DVD players are in the headrest.

There are also a few changes with the colors:

The Azurite Blue Pearl was replaced with Deep Indigo Pearl and Steel Silver Metallic has been replaced with Ice Silver Metallic. Also, the Ruby Red Pearls has Dark Gray Interior, instead of the Ivory Interior.

Outback's Antilock Braking System (ABS) prevents wheel lock-up and helps maintain driver control. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) balances braking, while Brake Assist can sense a panic-stop situation and apply full braking force to help stop faster.

The Airbag System (SRS)

Every Outback features a total of six front, front seat-side and side-curtain airbags. The advanced system uses an array of sensors to help deploy the airbags in the most effective way possible.
